Wow! Wow! (wait for it . . . . . . ) WOW!  Love your work, especially the fantasy relief carvings and the Art Nouveau carving. Beautiful work. I am a newby and I hope I can one day do work half as nice as that. Truly inspiring. 
 
I am a huge LOTR fan since HS. (late 70's - I turn 45 today) One of my greatest joys and happiest memories was reading the series to my children (now 18 - 12) before the movies came out. They loved it and I loved sharing it with them even more. Your work truly brings the Hildebrandt Bros illustrations a fitting tribute. I too LOVED those calendars. 
 
Anyway - fantastic work. I hope you get to do more carving soon. Love the idea for the Songs of Arowyn story and carved illustrations. Please complete it. I want to read it! :-)
