[Woodcarver] New record for the List...

Gentle Subscribers:

I can remember when this mailing List reached the 100 subscriber  
level, and how exciting that was. That was about 10 years ago... when  
the internet was fresh and new.

This last week the List broke the 700 subscriber level, and increase  
in 100 subscribers in the last 12 months. SDG.

As usual, it is hard to accurately account for the reasons for this  
increase, except to say that the List continues to hold the interest  
of subscribers, many of whom have been with us for 7, 8, 9 and even  
10 years.

It is hard to recall the many ways in which the List has been a  
blessing in the carving community. But among them are the many  
friendships, events and connections that have resulted from being a  
part of this online community.

Thank you to all the faithful List supporters who have made a point  
of keeping this List healthy with their personal donations. And  
welcome to all those new carvers who have recently discovered this  
community and are now enjoying it's benefits. May you soon become  
contributors to the online discussion and be a part of the expanding  
community of subscribers.
