Happy Holidays to you all and best wishes for the new year.  We are heading south and west in a few days and will be out of touch for 2 or 3 months,  I haven't done much carving since I got my laser engraver last Feb.I posted a few pics of my work in my PT albums if you want to take a look. I posted the pics for a laser engraver forum I joined.  Another great bunch, just like the woodcarvers,  willing to share knowledge and experiences.  The pics are in the first album:  http://www.PictureTrail.com/razaxnstuff  Incidently, that last Acanthus Panel I did (the big one 31 X 39") has been selected to grace the cover of Lee Valley Tools catalog in the coming year.  I hope to get some carving done while we are gone and away from the laser (wish I could take it along).  I'm taking plenty of basswood, butternut and a few big pieces of CW bark.
