Gonefishin1010S, maybe if you described what you are trying to do with this
driftwood someone would be able to help you.
Is it a stylized flying eagle, is it a relief carving of a flying eagle or
is it an anatomically correct sculpture(in the round carving) of a flying
eagle?
The book "Carving Large Birds" by Bill Dehos & Patrick Spielman has a
couple of eagle patterns, the closest to flying one has it's wings raised
but not fully.
Have you thought about doing a Google Image search on "Flying + Eagle" ,
lots of pictures there but without knowing what "you" actually want to do
it's difficult to suggest anything else.
Just a suggestion.(G)
