Lynn,
Just so happens I was cruisin' the net for Treebeard photos and artwork.
No patterns, but some possible reference material. Try these areas.

Fan art takes a while to sift through. A lot of it is immitations of
the movie rather than art derived from the books.
An important hobbit feature would be the feet. always barefoot. slightly
large for the figure. and hair, gotta have hair on the foot. Another
thing that I noticed, but couldn't find a definite reference in the book
was the ears. sort of modified elven ears. They're pointed, but not
slender pointed. at least not on the examples I preferred. JMTCW.
Keep on Carvin'

Folks
I had a phone call from a gentleman from Florida that was looking for a
Hobbit pattern. Can anyone recommend where I can find one?
Blessings
Lynn
