Mornin' my friends,

I miss chatting with you folk but I don't really have the time I'd like to
participate in list conversations. I do read the archives occasionally to
see what y'all have been up to. Thank you to all the well wishers. About
the only time I feel 70 is when my mind writes checks my body can't cash.

It's been another busy year so far with workshops in Jackson, Tennessee and
Chelmsford, Massachusetts, plus sharing some thoughts with the NEWC folk,
behind us already. I've designed new roughout projects for the workshops
this year and have been creating a line of instructional CDs along with
getting ahead with my Carving Magazine, Chip Chats and WOM publication
responsibilities. I'm hoping to find some time to carve a few competition
pieces and add to my show inventory too. I plan to update my web site with
new pictures and projects soon. I'll let you know when that's done.

We're currently in New York but in a couple weeks we'll be heading back to
Nashville as we make our way to Florida for the Suwannee River Carvers
Roundup, Following that I'll be doing a workshop at Smoky Mountain
Woodcarvers Supply in West Tennessee as our 2006 schedule unfolds. Again,
thanks for the birthday wishes and I hope to shake a howdy with many of you
somewhere on down the road.
