[Woodcarver] Help! I'm in way over my head.

I've carved off and on for about 8-10 years. Lately, mostly off. When I go
back in, I go back in real big. I've been working on a carving based on one
of Bill's carvings: Come Unto Me. I wanted to put the entire verse around
the carving, but I may have chewed off more than I can finish. Also, I had
a signmaker print out the words, and there are a few problems:

1) Missing the word 'the' before the word 'kingdom'.
2) The letters seem too thin for raised lettering.
3) The reference verse is upside down.

Most of these are easily fixed but what do I do about the thin lettering?
One option is to crowd the entire verse together with thicker lettering.
Another is to just use the first phrase and put it at the top, but that
would create a lot of blank space around the edge of the carving. Another
is to use the lettering and make it incise.

Any suggestions? I've emailed Bill a few times already and I didn't want to
overabuse that priviledge. You can certainly reply to the list but if you
want to email me directly, my email address is dnsbentley at msn.com.

Here is a link to the picture: www.picturetrail.com/sonomadon. The carving
in question is the first set called 'Judt carving'. The others are mostly
for family that lives a couple states over, but you're more than welcome to
enjoy.

P.S. Hope this introduction isn't too wordy, and thanks in advance for your
helpful suggestions.
