Bill,

Have you considered doing the list in a web based format such as the
example in this link.

The digest format is very cumbersome and hard to follow with many of
the replies containing text that is from earlier posts and the single
message format would fill up my box with too many messages to deal
with individually.

The example is another list that I subscribe to. It is very easy to
access the messages, the threads are easy to follow and archival
information is always there to review. The messages are posted
instantly and replies can be made instantly. I don't know how the
cost compares but the advantage of being able to post photos and
easily access old threads are big advantages. All the information is
always there and you don't even have to fill up your box or file
information for future reference. The sale of advertising could help
subsidize the cost. It's hard, sometimes, to want to make that next
leap in technology but after all, as the first woodcarving mailing
list provider, you are an innovator.

This is a link to the company that provides the tools to set
something like this up.

Be sure to look at the incredible nature inspired art jewelry hand
fabricated by my wife, Karen Olsen Ramsey. It's worth the time to
take a look!
