Hi Paul,
Your Irish is so-o-o good. I understood every word. LOL
Haroun has already taken good care of you with the translation. He
knows far more than I. The only thing I will add is that in USA we
would recognize Christiane's woodcarving exam as a completion of her
apprenticeship. That would be the "Gesellenprufung". At least that is
how I read it.
So why did I respond to her message? Because of our european research
and therefore contacts, I might be able to put her in touch with some
people.
Btw, there is a saying that accompanies foreign language that is quite
accurate:
The eyes read more than the ear will hear.
The ear hears more than the tongue can speak.
So reading is the easy part. (smile) That's where I come in.
