What beautiful pictures of a great bird!  I have never seen one before. 
Thanks for sharing!  You mentioned that  "something so dopy looking could 
become so regal looking..."
Do you have a picture of an adult Gyrcon?  I looked on the web for  a short 
time but I'm not sure what I was looking for.  You always have such 
educational information to share with us.
