Hey all y'all!

If you live anywhere within driving distance of central Indiana and are not
doing anything particularly exciting this weekend . come to the "Best Lil' Big
Carving Show Ever Held in a Cornfield"!!!

Actually it's not "in" a cornfield, but we are surrounded by corn.  It is the
Annual Eastern Woodland Carving Show in Converse, Indiana.  That's the Converse
that's in Miami County.  Yep . leave it up to dem thar Hoosiers to have two
towns named Converse not too far apart.

This show has been going on for 18 years and is gang-bossed by our buddies: the
Freemans, Millers and Browns.  Through their efforts, and many more hard-working
folks in their great club, the Eastern Woodland Carvers own a 3 story building
in beautiful downtown Converse that they use for their club house.

The show is held at the county fairgrounds on the edge of town.  It runs from 10
to 5 on Sat. July 15 and 10 to 4 on Sun. July 16.  There is no admission charge
and door prize tickets are drawn hourly for some really great give-aways.  There
is a silent auction, raffle and whittlin' contest going on just to make things
very interesting and entertaining.

Oh . I almost forgot . we'll be there with all our "STUFF"!!!

So, come on out and say "Howdy" or something to that effect.
