[Woodcarver] Whatchacorven????????????????

Mike:

The wood was white birch, kiln dried. As hard as white oak, and just
as tough to carve.
Usually white birch is easier to carve... softer and less reluctant
to accept a tool cut... but the last batch I bought was HEAVY and
HARD. It makes for excellent carvings though... you just have to do
more mallet work.
