Well - I haven't been piping up much on this list, but I have over on the Yahoo NEWR group.  I am a newbie/wannabe carver who will be attending this year (1st timer) with my wife, and I am looking forward to meeting a lot of you fine folks.  I am hoping to learn a whole bunch and make some new acquaintances, and have some fun pickin' & grinin' (guitar & a little NA Flute) when my hands get too tired to carve. 
 
See you in a couple days. First I gotta run my son up to soccer camp in CT and swing by my parents in NH. They just got me a BD present - 14 old carving chisels from a local antique dealer. Whoo whoo!!! I'll be getting you guys to show me how to sharpen em! :-)
