Hi Mike,
Harmen tools were sold under that name for many, many years. They were made by
U.J. Ramelson Co. out of New Jersey. They are now being marketed under the
manufacturer's name: Ramelson.
I do believe the "Laughlin" tools are also made by Ramelson. At one time anyone
who bought tools through Harmen can have their name put on the tools if you
bought enough of them.
We have handled the Ramelson tools for the past 25 years and have had great
success with them. They sharpen up nicely and seem to hold the edge for a good
long time. Hope this helps.
I'm not familiar with the "KST" tools.
