Ned:

I wish you had the one we just got. I’ve been trying to get my pond redone
since early spring. I’ve rented a pump and drained it a couple of times and
finally gave up. They were calling for a dry week so I rented the pump
again and pumped it out Saturday so the excavator could get in this
Wednesday. Guess what, it rained most of the night. Now the pond will need
to be pumped again. Maybe some of it will go your way.

Send some of that rain down here to Florida. We live in the dry woods and
the fire season has begun. We have already had some road closings due to
smoke. The drought probably won't end until we get our first hurricane. Just
hope its a small one. Dave Barry recently said those of us living in Florida
during hurricane season must have the IQ of bean dip, but how else can we
end the fire season?
