Hi Patti,
What you have is the heavy-duty set-up on the TXH machine. It comes with a
square drive shaft that only fits a select few Foredom handpieces.
You can convert the motor to fit all the regular handpieces, to include the #50
reciprocating handpiece. Like you said in your post, you need a shaft ($9.50),
a sheath ($13.00) and a motor connector ($3.00).
I would suggest going with the #50 Recip. Handpiece with no cutters @ $49.95,
instead of the #50C, and use Flexcut cutters that are available for use in that
handpiece. The cutters that Foredom offers are not anywhere near the quality of
the Flexcut ones. You can get a set of four nice size Flexcut cutters (RG404)
for $36.95 (Pg. 41 in Cat. #1004).
If I can help in any way, give me a call Patti.

Dan,
Thanks for the reply. Been out to Foredom and my interpretation is that I will
need to replace the shaft, sheath, the motor connection, buy a table top speed
control and then get around to buying the handpiece. I could be confused here
which is why I asked for help.

Patti,
Go to Foredom.com they have a description and price. Also others suppliers,
Sugar Pine etc., offer the hand piece. I have one on a regular shaft
Foredom tool. The TXH, which I also have, is different. Ibll try to put the
hand piece on and see if it works on it.

Carvers,
Having trouble finding information about buying the new reciprocating hand piece
to fit my Foredom. I have a TXH and that seems to be a weirdo. If anyone is an
expert on Foredoms....contact me off list ....Please. All help appreciated.
