[Woodcarver] Need some stan help

Hi all once again I am looking for info. I am planning on carving a couple
of elaborate doorframes for our mess (Military Bar). I am planning on using
Oak doors so I am looking to see if there is a stain or process I can use to
make Basswood look like Oak.
