[Woodcarver] Finishing Red Cedar

Hi George,

I wonder if you could work a piece of wax paper into the center of the icicle.

Spray on your clear coat, then remove the wax paper. It should have kept the
inside of the icicle from being sprayed, thus allowing the cedar smell to
continue.

It works out really well in my mind ... but between there and reality may be two
different things! :o)

Subject: [Woodcarver] Finishing Red Cedar

Hi All
I've been making Icicle Santa Xmas Tree ornaments out of
red cedar. They are about 1 inch in diameter and about 5 inches
long.
I would like to give them a clear finish but still preserve the
odor. I don't think that this is possible but I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance.
