[Woodcarver] Stick vise??

At some point in the past, I remember someone posting a picture and/or plans for a vise type affair that would lend itself to carving walking sticks/staffs.

Now that I'm getting to the point where I can realistically see having a dedicated carving place I can't seem to remember where I saw this.

Can anyone else remember this??
