My grandfather used WD-40 for arthritis in his hands, for years, and swore  
by it.  He lived to 92 yrs., so guess it didn't harm him any!

I got some information today from Reader's Digest that say you can use WD  40 
a little spray on the hands, or where you have, that will ease  Arthritis.
Maybe that might help  you.
