Personally, I would ask for an MSDS sheet for WD-40 to see if it's toxic or not.  By law, any store that handles a product must supply a "Material Safety Data Sheet" upon request.  It's a Federal Law...  Just my 2 cents....

    My grandfather used WD-40 for arthritis in his hands, for years, and swore by it.  He lived to 92 yrs., so guess it didn't harm him any!

      I got some information today from Reader's Digest that say you can use WD 40 a little spray on the hands, or where you have, that will ease Arthritis.
      Maybe that might help you.
