Hey, How is Ol' Don doing with that pinched nerve??

Thanks for asking. Don had the surgery 3 weeks ago and
the hand is still very painful. The doctor says a
couple more weeks before the pain goes away. It may
take another month or so to get the strength back in
his hand. Needless to say, he can't do much carving
right now. He can't hold onto the carvings and he
could cut off his little finger and wouldn't feel it!
The finger is both numb and painful at the same time.
Go figure!

We are about to leave Nashville and begin the summer
tour. Hopefully the hand will heal so we can leave. If
he can't play the guitar soon...
