Hi,
Just thought I would say hi to all of you. I am a very new carver from New
Brunswick Canada and have been reading this mailing list for just over a
week and have been getting great enjoyment out of it. I have been scouring
the net for sites and have found quite a few very handy ones. Right now I
have been carving mainly diamond willow sticks but I am itching to start a
caricature as soon as possible. Any suggestions on what one I should tackle
for my first one? Anyways as I said I just thought I would say hi so Hello.

Welcome to the List Darren. We're glad you are here and finding it helpful.
There are many resources on the Internet.
More then a few years ago our List owner Bill Judt started an on-line
woodcarving magazine that has since been taken over by Matt Kelly. It is an
excellent resource.

If you don't already have this link check it out. You'll find some of Ol Don
Burgdorf's caricature patterns.
