[Woodcarver] "Best Of"...Scam alert

Has anyone else received the solicitation from  Kennedy Promotions 
about an invitation to the Best of America book series?  I got one 
and it seemed a bit fishy so my wife googled it and got found a 
discussion on  American Association of Woodturners forum:

"all this company does is take your money and then throw together a 
book of everyone that submits. There is no real jury process, 
everyone who pays gets in, so there is no real benefit to getting in 
this book. The only people who buy them are those that are in the 
book."
