You are correct Sam people of Upper peninsula residence are loving referred 
to as Yoopers, as apposed to
Trolls those people living below the bridge.  They have also reintroduced 
the moose in the U.P.
about 10 years ago and now they are seen regularly in many areas.  Glad you 
are enjoying the moose Marilyn
it is actually a take off on the shelf elf idea, but up front and in your 
face,  :)
