[Woodcarver] tools

Kathy,  To do what you want to do for your first project, all it looks like 
you would require is a good bench knife.  My first knife was a Murphy knife. 
As valuable as the type of knife, tho, is knowing how to sharpen it.  I 
would also recommend you get a good basic book on carving.  That will give 
you lots of good info as well as ideas.  IMHO
