Hello Carvers,
   
  I have been looking for a group of carvers to talk with online for about six months or so.
  And it looks like I have found a great resource.
   
  There seems to be a lot of talented members of this list. Looking at the different galleries is very impressive. 
   
  Beginning about four years ago, carving has been an interest of mine. Although some of the aspects of it are still a mystery. Recently I purchased a set of tools put out by Warren Cutlery and am having trouble with them. They are very sharp, but the angle seems to be too steep for carving. Is this something that is normal in new tools?
  and do i need to sharpen them before use? Or am I just not used to them? Any suggestions would be very helpful.
