Diane,

I have had a similar experience with the spray lacquers. It is usually
the humidity. Try to only spray when it is dry or low humidty. As
already recommended apply a second coat. When this has happened to me
the 2nd coat took care of the problem. Also avoid the urethane and
Lacquer mix really are not compatible.
