Hi Diane,
Our own Lynn Diel offered this suggestion for a tool holder some time
ago.

I guess we all have to walk this walk. We buy all sorts of knives,
chisels, gouges. Then we must transport them to meetings. Once there,
you may find your spread may be encroaching on the next fella's space.
OR someone might trip over your tool box...OR they might avoid your
area because it's too congested (table and floor). Another thing to
consider with large tool rolls is safety. You wouldn't want someone to
cut themselves on "your" tools that are spread across the table. BTW,
it is more common for folks to cut themselves putting their tools away
than while carving. ;-)
After we acquire all the necessary tools that we "need," we find a
choice 4 to 8 tools that we use for everything. So how do we determine
those very beneficial tools that feel like extensions of our hands? I
guess we all have to walk the walk.
Best of luck and tell the Frankenmuth guys I said, "HI."
smiling
Sally

Check out this site. This fellow is a genius with benches, horses,
boxes and just about anything you might think of. I made his
adjustable relief carving bench and just love it.
