How can anyone guarantee results?
Very few people many a living from carving.
There may be some that do well, but for most I think it is something they
love to do.
I don't understand why you think is was this 'Ugly American' thing that you
refer to.
I don't remember reading e mails from people on the 'list' that are trying
to sell their own things, no less someone else's.
You say you have had carvings that you have for almost a year, and yet you
have not been able to help.
You seem to believe in him, but even so, you have not been able to help him.
Is there really anyone on this list that does import or export?
This to me has been a list of people guiding people to find patterns or
equipment and to show some of their wonderful carvings.
If things cost so much to ship, and you have to add other cost to it, maybe
this is not the place or country to sell to.
There is so much stuff that is manufactured and only a fraction of people
are will to pay a carver what they are really worth. Most will go for the
cheaper item.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, if you don't agree, you don't need to
attack someone for stating what they feel.
This woodcarver from India has hit a nerve with many people, some in a good
way and some in a bad way.
