What a treat when UPS arrived!!!  

Not only did we get in the new 2-disc Woodcarving DVD by Ivan Whillock, but we
also got in our first batch of Harry's "Woodcarver's Poetry" book.

And to top that off, the Holiday 2006 Issue #16 of "Carving Magazine" arrived.
Looks like the rest of the day is all planned out for me.  :o) (just as long as
Miss Carol don't catch me!)

There is a special article in this issue of "Carving Magazine" . our very own
Pat Sherman has a step-by-step woodburning lesson.  Way to go, Sherm!  I guess
now that you have been published that makes you an official PRO-fessional.  It's
a great article and the lil' donkey is really cute.

Of course, there are articles from some of the regulars: Ivan, lil' Joe, ol'
Don, Lynn Diel, John Call, etc., etc. . as well as a whole bunch of new and
exciting things to read about.

Marnie . you done good once again.  Congrats on another great issue.

I'm outta here . gotta get back to my reading.  I wonder if I can sneak my
portable DVD player past Carol???
