Morgan,
I believe that's the "best" testimony a person could say. That makes
the GOW a complete success. ;-)
Happy to hear you're on top of the wave again instead of in the trough.
Best

I have to say that Joe's Gathering of Woodworkers this year was a
"miracle drug" for me. I came home "loaded for b'ar," whereas for more
than a year, I've just lacked the inspiration and interest to
carve--really, just about since I came down with a serious illness in
March, 2005.
But GOW is good for what ails ye. The presence of all the good people
and the brilliant instructors, the atmosphere of friendliness and
fellowship, the superb but relaxed organization, and the willingness of
so many talented people to guide the rest of us along the way--these
are just some of the things that made it an exceptional experience. If
I get into naming names, I'll surely miss someone, so I'll save my
comments for later on. I hope to participate more on the woodcarver
list, but I'm mostly lurked for several years. But the fact is, I'd
rather be making art than spending too much time in front of the
screen.
So, to all who helped cure me at GOW, Thank You!
Morgan Groves
