hi everyone,

i have to many questions all the time and i am wondering, who wants to help?

my painting is almost finished and i am soon starting with my next project,

a pierced relief of a polar bear with in the background a sauna next to an old gnarly tree by the lake and a fat lady bading her feet in the lake, i will post a drawing soon.

my question is, i am in need of 2 people who like to sponsor me with some tutoring and answering questions on how to do this or that and what tools and tecniques to use. basicly to be my teacher.

-the first person would be an experienced pierced relief carver ready to give realy good tips on all aspects of it.

-and the second person would realy have to be able to teach me about woodburning, from absolute scratch ( i have to go by the basics for that, but already have some saved for buying the essentials i hope)

why woodburning?

well instead of painting the pierced relief carving i want to put as much detail with woodburning instead. the bear forexample would have its hairs burned in to the smallest detail, the nose would be woodburned black with a white sheen on it making it look healthy and wet and the eyes will have a certain sparkle having giving them their brownish black woodburned look, the rest of the carving will be a mix of carved in and or woodburned detail.

is anyone interested?
i am willing and enthousiastic

haroun from finland
