[Woodcarver] my first green man

I just finished my first green man and have done 3 "egg guys." I'm working 
on my first gnome home and it is a lot harder than doing faces! I'm using 
power tools more than I have before and have discovered bark dust!

The new stuff is in my "new carvings" album.

Can anyone give me some tips or cautions for laminating basswood blocks?
