When I got my artificial heart valve, I asked the cardiologist if it 
comes with a life time warranty.
She had a look that was unbelievable.  I guess no one ever asked that 
before.  She did say that it does after she thought about it for a few 
minutes.
2 years ago I asked her if that lifetime warranty was parts and labor.  
She told me only parts.
