[Woodcarver] Carving Assistance

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone remember the Woodcraft Magazine that featured an easy made holder to be used for carving?  The magazine showed how this gentleman made a wooden holder with adjustable areas for different size pieces you are carving.  If was a box type area you could use.  I have misplaced my magazine and if anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.
