Lori,

I watched the DIY episode this past Saturday night also, and I was very impressed. Your love of the outdoors and nature are exemplified in your carvings. Very good show, and a credit to your incredible talent. I was so impressed, I recorded the show, and made my wife watch it the next day. My wife is not a fan of carving, but even she was impressed by your presence.

  I haven't seen the show yet, so I don't know what was included. I've been getting info in bits and snatches from others, too. I'm glad the stuff about my Pa wasn't cut. 
  It was mentioned that the credits contained a "thank you" to Raid (wasp-killer)...now THAT'S funny...
  We had a bit of a wasp incident...let's just leave it at four people (in a 360 square foot area) with one wooden dowel rod (my weapon of choice would have been a 9-iron...but, hey) trying to knock it out of the air (that takes some eye-hand coordination, believe me)...each swipe getting funnier (but not as funny as when he started POKING at it with the dowel), 3 of the 4 doing the pee-pee dance (OK....ALL of us doing it), the other one saying "You're just gonna tick it off doing it that way....you're gonna tick it off...it's TICKED-OFF!!!"
