Hello Tom Hindes.....
A large dose of gratitude is sent your way from Little Rhode Island for your very creative exchange carving that arrived in the mails today. Your subject, the mythical aged scholar studying his book in the shade of a pair of large mushrooms, reminds me of a cooperative carving project our club carried out a few years ago. We each carved two displays of Nursery rhymes for the Children's Museum in Providence, RI. Your carving is wonderful and if you are relatively new to carving, I hope to see more of your future work. You also certainly have an effective painting technique. Do you have a Picturetrail or similar link that we can see other samples of your work? Thank you again and my thanks also goes out to Matt Kelly for all he has done over the years to make this fun activity possible.
