[Woodcarver] Hair Ideas, Anyone??

Also, Jan, if you read this, could you please tell us your "Umber Juice" recipe again.  I seem to have lost my copy in the mess I call a workshop.  Thanks!!!

I know how I would do the hair 
But I woodnt know how to explain it here 
As formy UM BER Juice 
1 prt Varathane (high glos)
1 prt paint thinner (NOT varsol)
1/2 part DB linseed oil 
You wil have to buy a small tube of BURNT UMBER paint  (oil)
and be liberal with the umberjuice 
You can always wipe off the drippings afterward
