Hi Alex,

The new 280 Porter Cable is a very good tool. The
Plunge base of the new 280 is soooo smooth I'm getting
a new base to replace the old one. My 280 has seen
tons of work over the years and has never failed
me---except for the sticky plunge. Now that will be
fixed.\
