I found a really good deal on a FREUD FT2200E 3 1/4 HP VS PLUNGE ROUTER W/
WARRANTY - only $130 with free shipping - and would like to know if anyone has
experience with this model. I am still wondering if it might not be larger
than needed.

it has been my experience when buying tools that if I try to buy what I need
to do a particular job, later I regret not buying the more powerful one.
Once you have the tool, you start to use it more often than you had originally
planned to and start planning bigger projects until eventually you reach the
limits of the tool. it is only then that I understand that I will soon need
to purchase something more powerful and will wind up buying the better one so
that I wind up with 2 and either never use the inferior one again and have it
cluttering up the shop or give it away or go thru the trouble of trying to
sell it. I would say go with the best you can afford. Frued is an excellent
brand and that seems like a great price.
