Many of you all Pat O'Dea, his brother Jim sent this out today. Pat always had a smile and a kind word for everyone and was never to busy to take time to talk with a friend he will be missed.

Patrick O'Dea passed away Thursday evening, he went peacefully after 16 weeks in the intensive care unit at Venice Regional Medical Center, Venice , FL. The fungus infection which had taken his knee in 1995 had found a new home in his brain this summer. Although that infection was successfully eliminated from the brain by surgery and antibiotics, other infections were introduced in the hospital which they were not able to control, particularly  a pseudomonas infection in the lungs.

His children will be here today and decide on funeral arrangements.
