Carving friends,

It has come to my attention that in the silver and gold rush mining
days, woodcarvers sold their carvings along the street.

Does anyone have any insight into this?  A father of a kid looking for
woodcarvings told me this was his sons' school project.

Who knew?????????  Not me!
