Best clump of grapes I've seen in a long time, Ray. :o)
Is that one photo just a tourist spot or did Judge Roy Bean actually "administer
justice" out of there???
Thanks for sharing the beautiful sunsets!

Hi Y'all, greetings from Del Rio TX. We came down here hoping to escape the
nasty NY winter, but the weather hasn't been what I expected. We are at the
Southwind Marina right on the shore of Amistad Lake created by dams on the Rio
Grande River. I have water on 3 sides and can see Mexico through my front
window. As you all know I haven't done much carving since I got my laser
engraver, so I brought along some blanks and tools. I did a few cottonwood
bark pieces (no pics) and am now working on a butternut panel 18X30 with grapes
and leaves. I started with one of Ivan's grape patterns and then used the
background (ground) for additional elements I put in freehand. It's still very
much in the rough, but I would appreciate your comments on the project and my
use of otherwise waste wood. I'll probably add more to the bottom to balance
with the top.. Take a peek if you like..
