[Woodcarver] How can we revitalize this great and very useful list ???

One way to revitalize this list would be to permit the posting of items for
barter/sale or trade in a non commercial way. there are many older carvers
with workshops brimming with items that new or younger carvers would get much
use of. There are even many younger tool junkies who have items they no
longer need or use. I understand the need to keep this list non commercial and
agree that merchandisers should be restricted but how bout a forum that really
helps others with things that they really need. there is no place on any
carving lists where this is being done. and it certainly would bring the list
some activity.

when I joined this list some 5 short years ago, I couldn't get enough of it.
It was one of the best resources for me, a new carver. What I do remember
is that if I asked a question, 20 different people answered me. so to the
younger/newer carvers. please ask questions!!! and to the more experienced,
please answer those questions. 700+members ought to be able to keep things
going.
