Your Welcome Merrilee...
Glad I could help. Some more info for you, Fajen no longer makes custom
stocks for people. What I would recommend is go to http://www.wenig.com .
These guys have 95% inletted stocks which basically the receiver and barrel
will drop in and you shape, sand and finish the outside. There may be a
little fitting required but not much. this can be done with a Dremel or
similar rotary tool. If you want to go this way, e-mail me off list and I
can give you all the info you need. I have built many rifles this way.
Long ago, Bishop was one of the top gunstock manufacturers in the US for
the custom people. Fajen- Reinhart bought out Bishop but a few years later
the two top guys at the factory bought out that branch of Fajen and started
their own company, Wenig. All located in Mo..... Wenig has 100% pre-made
stocks as well as blanks. You even have the option of a few places that
sell good used gunstocks at a fair price which I can give you that info too
if you'd like.

Best Regards,

Steve
