Sorry to bother the list with off topic but I need a new scanner for my 
MacBook.  The recommended HP ScanJet 5590 has a poor review.  Says it 
has too many software gliches for a Mac.  I don't need any 
computer/interface problems.  Don't mind paying the price for optimum 
performance and user friendly.
Requirements:
*PowerBook
*high resolution (publishing quality)
*user friendly
