Gentle Subscribers:

Photo submissions are starting to come in, and are being posted to  
the various galleries at http://woodcarver.smugmug.com/

I want to encourage those of you who have carvings your are pleased  
with, to submit images to this group gallery.
Make sure, though, that the images are not blurry or poorly lighted,  
OK? The idea is to post high quality images only.

For some of you, taking high quality digital images is more a  
challenge than for others who've taken pictures for years.
BUT... it is important to learn these skills. Photography is more and  
more becoming a part of carving... a necessary skill like learning to  
laminate wood or sharpen tools.

If you need coaching on how to take good images of your carvings,  
please ask questions on this List. There are MANY good PHOTOGRAPHERS  
on this List who'd be willing to steer you in the right direction.
