He will be missed by all.

 Dear Lynn,
   
  I have some sad news to share, well, sad in a certain way.
   
  My father died yesterday at 4:20 in the afternoon, with my mother and I holding him, singing hymns and sharing Scripture with him. We are deeply grieved, but not as those who have no hope in Christ.
   
  Would you kindly inform the rest of the members of the carving group?
   
  My dad really loved his friendships with all his "wood carving buddies" as he referred to you all. Thanks for all the friendship and fellowship returned to him.
   
  I'm not sure how many of you realized this, but my father was dealing with increasingly debilitating neurological problems that forced him to retire from his pastoral ministry "early" at age 68, and he continued to struggle with them, until his diagnosis of lung cancer more than a year ago.
   
  I  admire his courage.

  I will probably not be checking this e-mail address for some days now, but I wanted to post this out to you so you in turn could alert the other members.
   
  I believe my dad had some editorial responsibilities with a carving publication, and my mother is worried that his deadline was July 12. Is there any chance you might know whom I could contact about that?
