Sorry Ivan. I don't see it that way this time. From checking my archives, that's the longest message and, possibly the only message, Ben ever sent The List. Quiet lurking is fine <some probably wished I'd practice it more often>, but if your not going to actively contribute to the nature of the list, then just leave quietly when you realize it's not your cup of tea (or has changed into not-your-cup-of-tea). I don't see the need to self evaluate <The List> because of a cheap, parting shot from someone who said nothing until they slammed the door on the way out. We're a pretty social group and The List does swing to extremes sometimes, but I've never seen the list so self absorbed in Chat that someone didn't get a response to a technical question when they asked it. WHEN THEY ASKED IT. IMHO, The List ain't broke. and neither is the "delete" key.
